There's lots of signs of do's and don'ts in the park
The War/Veterans Memorials at the park were very nice. This one reads:
"While reading this you are honoring 22 Marines from the 1st Battalion 24th Marines that
made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. From September 2006 to April 2007 the Marines from
Michigan and Ohio deployed to Fallujah, Iraq. Over their deployment 22 Marines were killed in
action. They were honored in the sand abroad and now you honor them here by reading their names.
These Marines have their life in the name of Liberty and Freedome and their sacrifice will
always be remembered. God Bless Marines and Semper Fi."
Concerts are performed at the park thoughout the summer
