Kayaking and walking the Huron River from Argo Livery, Ann Arbor, MI

Video of the Argo Cascades

These photos are fron the Huron River in Ann Arbor starting at the Argo Livery as my drop off point. Argo is an excellent livery with nice staff. LIke most professional liveries, they will drop you off and pick you up downstream. The Argo Livery is also a part of the Gallop Livery at Gallup Park. Both locations have a large assortment of canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats to choose from. They have all sorts of programs for children from Kindergarden to high school. In the year I took those photos, on August 13 from 8 PM to 11 PM, they even have a moonlight paddle where a group of people will kayak at night with glow sticks. It's said you will often see deer, muskrats, kerons and other wildlife.

I found this to be a very nice kayaking location indeed!
