There nice variety on the island, from the riverfront biking, to subdivision biking (here), to inland biking, a business district, and marinas.
This was a cool house with the pastel colors and winding exterior staircase to a large front balcony.
This was a monster of house on the eastern end of the island.
This house isn't too shabby either.
I enjoyed all the subdivisions and crossing canal bridges into many of them.

There is also a airport/landing strip on Grosse IIe. It's known as the Grosse Ile Municipal Airport - (ONZ/KONZ).

Grosse IIe Business District - everything you could want is here, e.g. Krogers, several banks, insurance companies, gas station, etc., but all grouped on one street through the center of the island leaving the rest of the island to residential, which was nice.
